Minimum qualification requirements for admission to various programs at KNRCER

Diploma Programs (Polytechnic)

3-Year Diploma in Engineering

Qualification: 10th Standard (SSC) pass from a recognized Board

Minimum Marks: 35% aggregate in 10th (Mathematics, Science, English)

Admission Process: Through TS POLYCET counselling conducted by TSBTE or Management Quota (CAT-B)

Age Limit: No upper age limit for Diploma admissions

Lateral Entry: ITI holders with relevant trade can seek lateral entry into 2nd year Diploma

B.Tech Programs

4-Year Bachelor of Technology

Note: B.Sc. graduates with Mathematics as a subject are also eligible for B.Tech lateral entry through ECET.

MBA Program

2-Year Master of Business Administration

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University

Minimum Marks: General: 50% SC/ST/BC: 45%

Entrance Exam: TS ICET (Integrated Common Entrance Test) rank is mandatory for government quota seats

Management Quota: Available for candidates without ICET rank (CAT-B seats)
